About Us

The Arkansas Fair Managers Association is a voluntary, non-profit, educational organization established in the 1940’s and incorporated in 1977 to promote and encourage county, district, and state livestock shows and fairs.

Our Purpose is to promote and support Arkansas fairs, to provide AFMA members with beneficial information, and to hold an annual educationally oriented convention and special meetings

Membership
Active Membership – county, district, and state fairs
Associate Membership – individuals, companies, and organizations who support fairs

Board of Directors
AFMA is managed by a Board of Directors with 12 members.
* Ten Active members from county, district, or state fairs are elected by the Active membership to serve on the Board of Directors. Active Board members serve for a term of five years and may be elected for two terms.
Two Associate members are selected by the Associate membership and elected by the Active membership to serve on the Board of Directors. Associate Board members serve for a term of two years and may be elected for five terms.
